Daffodilians Celebrate Uttar Pradesh Van Mahotsav: Learning Beyond Books
The Daffodilians proudly participated in the Uttar Pradesh Van Mahotsav, reaffirming their commitment to environmental conservation through active participation in a plantation drive.
The students took a Green Oath to protect nature, promote afforestation, and spread awareness about the importance of a greener and healthier environment. They had the privilege of interacting with Shri Prithviraj, IFS, whose inspiring address highlighted the significance of forests, biodiversity, and the role of young citizens in preserving our natural heritage.
The event was further enriched by the gracious presence of the Gram Pradhan and Parshad of Devrampur, who encouraged students to become active contributors to environmental sustainability.
More than just a plantation drive, the programme was a true example of experiential learning, where students stepped beyond textbooks to witness environmental stewardship in action. Such meaningful experiences nurture responsibility, leadership, and a lifelong respect for nature.
At The Daffodils Public School, we believe that education extends beyond classrooms. This memorable experience has inspired our students to become responsible environmental ambassadors and will continue to resonate with them as they work towards building a greener and more sustainable future.

The Daffodils Public School at CBSE Innovation Conclave 2026
The Daffodils Public School proudly participated in the prestigious CBSE Innovation Conclave 2026 held at the Agastya Creativity Campus, Kuppam. Representing the school, Mrs. Nutan Bisht (Principal)accompanied two student participants in this four-day residential conclave, which brought together teachers and students from across India to explore innovative and experiential approaches to learning.
The conclave provided an enriching platform where participants engaged in hands-on activities, interdisciplinary workshops, scientific experiments, creativity labs, eco walks, yoga sessions, model-making, planetarium visits, astronomy observations, and interactive discussions with eminent educationists. The students enthusiastically explored Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Marine Science, Mathematics, and DNA laboratories, while also designing and presenting innovative working models.
A major highlight was the opportunity to experience Agastya's unique learning philosophy of "Aah! – Aha! – Ha-Ha!", which encourages curiosity, conceptual understanding, and joyful learning. The participants also attended inspiring sessions on experiential pedagogy and witnessed how low-cost teaching-learning materials can make classroom education more engaging and meaningful.
The participation in the CBSE Innovation Conclave has inspired the Daffodils team to bring innovative teaching practices and experiential learning strategies into the classroom. The knowledge and experiences gained will help nurture creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and scientific temperament among students, reaffirming the school's commitment to providing holistic, future-ready education.
The Daffodils Public School is proud to have been a part of this national initiative and looks forward to implementing these transformative learning experiences for the benefit of all its learners.
